About

I believe great leaders and managers can solve almost any business problem. I came up believing ambitious people building the right teams could change the world, and I chased that through five software companies until I burned out. One of them I had to close myself, undone by over-analysis, weak commitment, and bad timing. That failure still shapes how I run a room.

I became the guy brought in to reshape broken teams, four of them in three years, and I built the manager-track program that made the fixes stick. That skill took me out of software and into the C-suite as COO of a frozen fruit import company, where we grew it into the largest frozen fruit importer in the country. Alignment, accountability, and simple systems were the whole game.

In 2018 I read Traction and started bringing EOS into the frozen fruit business.  First clients in 2020. Full time since 2021, and 250+ sessions later I still believe the ceiling on a company is the ceiling on its leadership team.

I work especially well with founder-led, privately held companies between 20 and 250 employees that are growing faster than their leadership team can absorb. Not PE-owned. Teams that want candor and are willing to do the work.

My Beliefs

01
Great Leaders and managers can solve almost any business problem.

Most companies don't have a strategy problem — they have a leadership team that was never built. The ceiling on your company is the ceiling on the people running it.

02
Ideas don't fail on the whiteboard. They fail on Tuesday

Strategy is the easy part. What kills it is the ordinary week: no owner, no deadline, no meeting where anyone has to answer for it. My job is making execution inevitable.

03
The anticipation of a difficult conversation is worse than the actual experience - Dan Sullivan

The avoided conversation isn't avoided — it's paid for weekly in bad meetings and slow decisions. My job is a room safe enough that it finally gets said.
