With a background in accounting and a degree in information systems, I began implementing accounting systems on personal computers in the early 1980s—just as technology was transforming how businesses operated. That work grew into a 35-year entrepreneurial career building and implementing business management systems for companies across the U.S.

Throughout those years, I often found myself sitting with CEOs who shared their frustrations about their business challenges—and then with their teams, who expressed equal frustration with leadership. I realized that most organizations weren’t struggling because of technology or strategy—they were struggling with accountability, communication, and alignment.

In the early 2000s, I began a personal quest to find a better way to help businesses solve these people and leadership issues. I asked every coach, consultant, and CEO I knew for answers, but none had a clear solution. Then, after seven years of searching, a CEO friend handed me a copy of Traction: Get a Grip on Your Business and said, “I think this is what you’ve been looking for.”

I read Traction in three days—and immediately knew he was right. The Entrepreneurial Operating System® (EOS®) provided the practical structure and tools that so many businesses were missing. After seeing firsthand how EOS transformed companies I worked with, I decided to dedicate the next chapter of my career to helping entrepreneurial leaders master these tools.

Today, as a Professional EOS Implementer®, my mission is to make business easier for this generation of entrepreneurs—to help them gain clarity, control, and freedom, so they can build stronger companies and live better lives.
