About
Jake has started 7 businesses since age 23 with triumphs and train-wrecks, rounds of investments, and way more pivots than he originally thought possible.
He has sold everything from 1/4 million dollar software contracts for a real estate tech start-up he helped grow from 20 to 200 people…to scooters that he imported from China and meat door-to-door!
Jake was also the founding moderator of a peer-to-peer advisory event called House of Genius where over 7-years he moderated hundreds of roundtable sessions and thousands of entrepreneurs and helped grow the organization to 20 cities in 3 continents.
Having seen behind the curtain at hundreds of companies, Jake saw that the TV version of entrepreneurship (which is shiny and sexy…) is a complete fairytale. The reality is that it’s hard and there’s no manual.
Then Jake’s wife (who is a fractional CFO) introduced him to EOS and he read the book Traction and realized that there actually IS a manual. His first reaction was to get upset – where was this 15 years ago!? His second reaction was to go all in as an EOS implementer – to help entrepreneurs in a way he wishes he had been helped.
